As the adopter, you will receive a “Family Needs Form” pertaining to your specific family (or families). The form consists of clothing size, shoe size, a “wish list,” the family’s names, ages, sexes, and contact information.

Project Giving does not set specific financial or other binding obligations for the adopter in the adoption process. Each adopter is free to use whatever discretion deemed appropriate. The items listed by the family on the “Family Needs Form” are not mandatory purchases, but merely items of desire. Although purchasing gifts for the parent(s) or caregiver(s) is not mandatory, if possible, it would be a kind gesture to spread a bit of “tangible Christmas joy” with them!

You are completely free to make the decision pertaining to gift wrapping your items. It’s whatever works for you! (If you do not have the opportunity to gift wrap your presents, we will gladly gift wrap them for you! Just let us know a bit in advance! Lots of students use this to gain community service hours!!)

Option #1: If you choose for PROJECT GIVING to deliver your gifts to your adopted family, it would be appreciated if you could submit your gifts to us by December 15. Please, email us at info@projectgiving.net to make those arrangements. Please, label EACH GIFT with the family’s number (located at the top of each adoption form). Also, please, label each gift with the person’s name who is receiving it.

Option #2: If YOU choose to deliver the gifts to your adopted family, please use the family’s
contact information to make those arrangements. (Or, we will be happy to provide that
service for you! Just give us the details, and we’ll make the delivery arrangements for you!)

This is completely your decision. Most of our adopters contact their family (families) if they have further questions, to make delivery arrangements, or to just get to know the family (families) in whom they are adopting.

Project Giving does not require a report of any kind per your interactions with your adopted family, but we would LOVE for you to share your touching and inspiring pictures and stories with us! Send them to info@projectgiving.net!
